Just BEET It

The healthy lifestyle menu can hit a flavor slump when vegetable food prep consists of only steamed broccoli. Determined to cure my craving for salty & sweet using beets seemed like a great idea (genius I know!). These purple beauties packed with iron are a nutritious way for adding color to a plate. As a plus, I also mixed up a guilt free dessert because a little extra sweet never hurt anyone. 

Roasted Sprouts & Sweets 


Brussel sprout halves, beets, & sweet potatoes

Drizzle a little olive oil, sea salt, & a dash of black pepper. 

Roast in oven for 40 Mins


Beet Root & Feta Salad

Beet Root, beets, & feta Cheese 

** This one is super easy just chop and toss together**

Matcha No Bake Munchies 


1 tbsp Matcha green tea

2 tbsp Maple syrup

4 tbsp Almond flour (I used coconut flour) 
1 tbsp Coconut oil
1 cup Coconut, unsweetened
